Tom Britt, USCF National Master, 2240 rating

In his pursuits of being a strong player and teacher, Tom has put many hours into bettering his play and his method of instruction, so as to strive for excellence. He seeks to help the players learn about chess and help develop the kids into people of good character. So, life lessons are a big part of what Tom wants to communicate, being good team players, working hard as an important ethic and mostly giving your best to actualize your potential. In this way the students become all around champions, at the board and in life!

We accept children of all ages and abilities, with the minimum requirement that the child needs to know the basic chess moves.

Chess Master Michael Vilenchuk (rating 2300+) is an experienced player and coach. His achievements include winning two Ohio championships, the winner of the 2011 Denker Tournament of State Champions, 2011 North American co-champion, 32 at the World Youth in Brazil, and most recently becoming the 2014 Greater Boston Chess Champion.
